SPRING BREAK 2008 ON PC BEACH, FLORIDA:

Spring Break 2008 is going to hit us sooner than you think... the time to start planning is NOW!

MTV will be setting up their mtvU Spring Break Village on the beaches of Panama City Beach for Spring Break 2008. You can see shows, concerts, and contests all being filmed by MTV & mtvU networks. The beaches are sure to be filled with hundreds of thousands of spring breakers from all over the world mixed in with some of the biggest names in movies, tv shows, music and more. Panama City Beach is without a doubt the Spring Break Capital of the World, and for those who have never been to Spring Break in Panama City Beach, here's a short summary of what goes on...

Over the past few years there have been great concerts everywhere including Default, Bush, and the unforgettable Smashmouth performance right on the beach. We've also seen some great shows hosted by mtvU lately, including Relient K, Fall Out Boy, Trillville & Lil Scrappy, Pitbull/Daddy Yankee, Fabolous, Akon, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz, Sean Paul, LL Cool J, Hawthorne Heights, All American Rejects, Three 6 Mafia and many more!

Most of the contests were wild and crazy, and one of the Spring Break favorites is Twister, which as you can imagine, is quite entertaining.

Some people spend the day in their hotels, preparing for a big night out. Others enjoy getting some sun, riding the banana boat, renting a waverunner, parasailing, climbing obstacle courses, or just having some fun with their friends on the beach.

If you've been to Spring Break in PCB before, you may have seen some Hot Salsa Wrestling behind Spinnaker. The winner scored a thousand bucks! Not bad for sliding around in a pool full of Santa Fe Salsa with another hot girl in a bikini! Maybe you participated in the GIANT TWISTER CONTEST behind Harpoon Harry's daily... or one of the many Daisy Duke contests which seemed to be a big hit last year? Or maybe a belly-flop contest (bikinis always seem to pop off during the belly flop...)? All proof positive that Panama City Beach is the premiere spring break destination of hundreds of thousands of spring breakers every year. Nobody does it bigger, nobody does it better.

Spring Break here in PCB is full of activities to keep everyone entertained. You can hang out with your friends at Spinnaker Beach Club , dance all night at the college bar on the beach - Harpoon Harry's, party in the outdoor tent party at Hammerhead Fred's, or join the biggest bash on the beach at Sharky's Beach Club. Try your hand at rock climbing, learn how to be a pro boxer, play some volleyball or b-ball or maybe even let the Calgon girls take you away.

Who will you meet at Spring Break? You might meet a group of friends to spend the week with. Or you might even meet some celebrities like Tara Reid and Ryan Reynolds, who were here to premiere their new movie, National Lampoon's Van Wilder! Steve-O of MTV's Jackass fame, stapled a girl's thong to his posterior region as part of his show one night. It's always a good time on Panama City Beach!

Students from all over the world flock to PCB to meet other students, party, and just plain have fun. National sponsors spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to be a part of the craziness which attracts even more students. One thing is for sure... you can bet on every Spring Break being bigger and better and wilder and sexier than the one before it. So if you think 2007 was crazy, Spring Break 2008 will blow you away!
